    To inform the development of the new Draft Local Plan for Camden we are holding a series of conversations with different groups to identify key issues for the Plan moving forward. The responses received as part of this engagement will be used to shape future planning policies for Camden.

  • Consultation on the new Draft Local Plan and Site Allocations

    Early work has started on the preparation of the new Draft Camden Local Plan and Site Allocations. As part of this, we are updating the evidence base that supports the Local Plan. Consultation on the Regulation 18 Draft Camden Local Plan and Site Allocations will take place later in 2023.

  • Consultation on the Pre-Submission Local Plan and Site Allocations

    Upcoming

    Following consultation on the Draft Camden Local Plan, the Plan will be updated and the evidence base that supports the Plan will be finalised. The Regulation 19 Pre-Submission Camden Local Plan and Site Allocations will then be published for consultation in 2024.

  • Submission

    Following consultation on the Regulation 19 Pre-Submission Camden Local Plan and Site Allocations the Plan will then be finalised and submitted to the Secretary of State for examination.

  • Examination

    The Camden Local Plan and Site Allocations will then be subject to examination in public by a Planning Inspector.

  • Adoption

    Upcoming

    Subject to the Camden Local Plan and Site Allocations being found ‘sound’ by a Planning Inspector, the Local Plan and Site Allocations will then be adopted by the Council.
